1. Marry someone who things the Great Commission is what your employer gives you after a big sale.
2. Focus on your past failures and remember that God cannot possibly use you.
3. Worry about money non-stop
4. Remember that you are not super-spiritual, but missionaries are more holy than you.
5. Ignore the teaching of Jesus
6. Be content to know the Bible, teach the Bible and discuss the Bible in various group settings
7. Focus on the American Dream or some other dream which promises you a full reward now
8. Don't interact with Missionaries or read about those in past or present
9. Be afraid to Die
10. Read the Bible for pleasure rather than as a possibly life-changing practice
